Our Induction Weekends for this year are quickly approaching, and registration will be open soon!
The Spring Ordeals will be happening on May 5th to May 7th at Pfeffer Scout Reservation and May 19th to May 21st at Camp Crooked Creek.
Ordeals are the event where elected scouts get inducted into the OA. Members and candidates alike participate in service projects to better the camp before the summer season. If you have already been to an Ordeal but want to seal your membership, we will be offering Brotherhood Workshops on both Induction Weekends!

Are you already in the OA and just want to help out? Any youth in the lodge can volunteer at the Ordeal as a Ceriomonalist or an Elangomat. If you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch with your Nation Chief at either centralnationchief@nguttitehen.org or westernnationchief@nguttitehen.org. Not sure what nation you are in? Contact info@nguttitehen.org to learn that or ask any other questions that you have. Just make sure to add another adult leader to any emails you send for YPT purposes!
Any Lodge Member can also go to Ordeals to help out with service work or watch the ceremonies, so everyone is welcome! After the final ceremony at each ordeal, you will have the chance to attend a Cracker Barrel where you can trade patches, play board games, or socialize with other lodge members!
The OA is full of many future friendships and opportunities, and Ordeals are the perfect way to start. We hope to see you there!
