August Chiefly Speaking

Ngutti Gang,

My name is Brady T., and I have the honor of being your Lodge Chief. I’d like to extend my congratulations to past chief and good friend of mine, Braydon S., for his election to Section E3 Secretary. At the May Ordeal, we had some leadership changes to our officer team. I’m excited to announce that for the remainder of the year I will serve as Lodge Chief, Isabella L. will serve as Vice Chief of Administration, and Richard D. will serve as Lodge Secretary.

I’d like to take this time to formally introduce myself. I am a proud Eagle Scout from Troop 81 in Shepherdsville, KY. I’ve been in the lodge for 3 years and served in numerous leadership roles. I am a NYLT/Kodiak staff member as well as a JASM. Outside of scouting, I like to run daily news broadcasts for my school. I have 6 dogs and a mild Dr Pepper addiction. It is my mission to grow the lodge, develop the leaders within it, and have a great time while doing it.

We are very excited to show you what we have planned for the fall. We have three ordeal weekends coming up in August and September. If you would like to help out as either a ceremonialist or an elangomat, please reach out to our Nation Chiefs, CJ M. and Austin P. You can find their emails on the leadership page of our website. If you know of somebody who was elected into our Order, please encourage them to come to an Ordeal weekend and see what we’re all about. After our fall Ordeals, we have our annual Fall Fellowship. Fall Fellowship is, in my opinion, the most fun event of the year! Be prepared for a weekend of circus games, food, and lodge spirit. We will also be hosting elections for 2025 Lodge Officers. Fall Fellowship will be hosted at Camp Crooked Creek from October 18-20.  It’s gonna be a blast and I hope to see you all there!

Brady T.
